Juniors
The WFRA is very pleased to present 2 series of fell races for all ages of juniors in 2024- one in the north and one in the south. Plus an exciting All-Wales Champs!
Age categories
Age categories for all races are based on age at 31st Dec 2024:
- Under 7 (2018-19)
- Under 9 (2016-17)
- Under 11 (2014-15)
- Under 13 (2012-13)
- Under 15 (2010-11)
- Under 17 (2008-09)
- Under 19 (2006-07)
Minimum age for all races is 6 on the day, runners < 6 may run but must be with an accompanying adult.
Kit requirements
- U19s, U17s and U15s should be prepared to carry full kit in all races (as per WFRA rules: waterproof coat and trousers, hat, gloves, map & compass, whistle).
- Other age groups may need to carry/wear a waterproof coat, hat, gloves.
- Races for the younger age groups will be well marked. Some navigation may be required in the older categories (GPS not permitted).
Junior Membership: £5 per year, for all juniors up to and including u19 age category (i.e. includes the year in which they turn 18). Includes calendar, membership card and free or discounted entry to many races! Join online.
